Charlotte presented her Poster at the Study Advisory Board MSSO Meeting

Charlotte presented her poster with the title Angiopoietin-2/ITGB1 targeted therapy suppresses tumor cell invasion and the formation of metastasis in small cell lung cancer at the Study Advisory Board MSSO Meeting which took place in the Center for Molecular Medicine Cologne.

Tissue slices have been stained with Hematoxylin & Eosine (HE) stain to show cellular structures and with immunohistochemistry for NCAM1 (a marker for neuroendocrine tumors). Histologic analysis showed that deletion of the protein Integrin beta 1 (ITGB1) abrogated small cell lung cancer metastasis in the liver.
